Completed with no cool on a 2019 trane air handler r22 horizontal in attic, found bad blower motor. Unit is under parts warranty only.
One time maintenance 2016 system, changed filter, washed unit off, checked refrigerant pressures, they are good, amps on blower motor are good, verified amps on compressor and condenser fan motor were good as well, unit cooling at this time.
AC maintenance on one unit. Indoor unit: cleared condensation line, checked blower motor, filter, electrical connections and wiring, ductwork, attic insulation, attic ventilation Outdoor unit: cleaned coil, checked fan motor, compressor, refrigerant pressure, all electrical connections and wires Recommend- UV light, new attic insulation, and roof vents
Dispatched to investigate concerns, Carol was having about her system. The maintenance was just performed yesterday. I verified the primary drain is clear and flowing at this time. Filter is new. Check the charge and the refrigerant is 100%. I recalibrated the thermostat. It was actually reading 4° warmer than what it actually was in the house. I advise Carol that it would take at least an hour to meet the demand that she is requesting at this time. Otherwise system is operating at manufacturer specs at this time.
Completed AC1 maintenance Indoor unit: checked coil, cleared condensation line, changed filter, checked blower motor amps, checked UV light, checked attic insulation, checked ductwork, checked all electrical connections and wiring Outdoor unit: checked capacitor, checked contactor, checked fan motor, checked compressor, cleaned outdoor coil, checked all electrical connections and wiring, checked pressures and superheat and sub cooling. All systems are working properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning
Set up new IP address through the thermostat. I am waving the diagnostic today since it was just slightly over 30 days since the last time I was here.
Came out for cooling maintenance for two systems. Both systems are cooling efficiently with no issues
Completed with no cool, found all units running and cooling properly at this time. Refrigerant levels are good, capacitors good. No issues found. customer will let us know if unit stops again.
Completed with estimate to replace a 4 ton complete gas upflow in closet. Left estimate. Customer needs to talk to wife before making a final decision.
Check new Condenser install
I balanced the air at the plenum because Customer complained that after adding 3 9” supplies, airflow decreased in the master bedroom. Recommended 3 options 1. Adding return in master bedroom, 2. hanging and repairing ductwork, 3. Replacing all old ductwork. Customer will talk to husband about which option to proceed with.
Checked system found that the system is very low on puron due to copper lines rubbing against eachother at the condenser. Recommending leak repair after recovering whatever is in the system. After leak is made and lines are pressurized and vacuumed. We will add a completely new charge. Homeowner had a buddy add refrigerant to the system last week. Not sure if we should trust that refrigerant in the system.
Came out for no cool found system with no power. Breaker was flipped off. Powered system back up and system is cooling. I checked the charge and everything seems fine and system is cooling efficiently with no issues. Found no leaking issue
Done didnt found no issue
Checked indoor and outdoor units. Indoor- Checked blower motor amp, filter, coils, ductwork. Recommend duct cleaning, And adding insulation to attic, and attic tent. Outdoor- Checked Condenser fan motor, compressor, capacitor, contactor, all electrical wires, pressure levels, and sub cooling, cleaned coils. Resident wanted estimate on relocating thermostat into living room. Please see attached picture.
Whirlybird Installation
Labor Charge to change out warranty thermostat.
Dispatched to investigate why the attic is getting so hot. The way the home is designed it is not allowing proper ventilation for the attic to stay cool enough to keep the hot water heater lit. I am recommending soffit vents and whirlybirds. Client has decided to only do the whirlybirds this year. If it does not work, she will try the soffits next year.
Checked upstairs system came across a shorted contactor at the condenser that was causing system not to cool and thermostat to go intermittently blank. Homeowner had a JB and associates part and labor warranty. Posted the picture to service titan.
Completed maintenance, blower amps are good, drain pan is dry and line is clear, coil is clean, pressures are good, good SC and SH, temp split in house is around 18. Amps on compressor and fan are good at this time, unit is cool good.
Performed maintenance, drain pan os dry, clear drain line. Blower motor amps are good at this time, would recommend changing filter.19 degree temp split, outdoor coil is clean, pressures are good at this time, amps on fan and compressor are withing range, cap is starting to get a little low, recommend changing
Came out for no cool and noise concern. Found condenser coil restricted with dirt and debris. Washed the system down thoroughly. Started system and it's cooling but not efficiently. Recommended return visit for service
Came out for concern about evap coil. Coil is dirty
Unit looks good. Compressor Compacitor were out of factory recommendation. I let customer know
